Hi, I’m Katie.

I’m a business coach for women entrepreneurs in the Rockford, IL area.

I’m also the host of the Well+Kind podcast (available on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you like to listen).

I’m on a mission to help local women entrepreneurs free themselves from anxiety, confusion, and self-doubt so they can reach their full potential without fear getting in the way.

When clients hire me, they get more than a coach. They get someone who will hold their hand through the highs and lows of entrepreneurship. Someone who will be there to lend support, advice, and perspective when they need it most.

I was born and raised in the 8-1-5, and I’m proud to call Rockford home.

I started in banking as a teller when I was 17 years old (RIP, Amcore). When I earned my bachelor’s degree from Millikin University in 2007, I went into commercial banking full-time, eventually being named a Vice President of commercial lending at a local bank.

In my years as a banker, I worked with business of all shapes and sizes. Brick and mortar; real estate; service-based; machine shops (Rockford is the “screw city,” after all!); and nonprofits.

And while I enjoyed working with all types of businesses, I especially loved working with ambitious women with dreams. Because when women succeed, the whole city rises.

So now, my mission is to give women in business the support they need to chase their dreams with clarity, confidence, and calm. Next to being a mom, it’s the best job in the world.

When I’m not coaching, you can find me hanging out around Rockford with my husband and our two young boys, volunteering in my community, doing yoga (I’m training to be a certified yoga instructor!), writing, playing sand volleyball, or reading.
