Hi, I’m Katelyn.
I’m help women entrepreneurs stop “should-ing” all over themselves so they can become and wildly successful business owners they know they can be.
I’m also the host of the Start|Grow|Pivot podcast (available on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you like to listen).
I’m on a mission to help women entrepreneurs learn to trust their intuition so they can make better decisions, faster.
When clients hire me, they get more than a consultant. They get someone who will hold their hand through the highs and lows of entrepreneurship. Someone who will be there to lend support, advice, and perspective when they need it most.
It’s time to break free from the mold.
I was born and raised in the 8-1-5, and I’m proud to call Rockford, IL home.
I started in banking as a teller when I was 17 years old (RIP, Amcore). When I earned my bachelor’s degree from Millikin University in 2007, I went into commercial banking full-time, eventually being named a Vice President of commercial lending at a local bank.
In my years as a banker, I worked with business of all shapes and sizes. Brick and mortar; real estate; service-based; machine shops (Rockford is the “screw city,” after all!); and nonprofits.
And while I enjoyed working with all types of businesses, I especially loved working with ambitious women with dreams. Because when women succeed, the whole world rises.
So now, my mission is to give women in business the support they need to chase their dreams with clarity, confidence, and calm. Next to being a mom, it’s the best job in the world.

When I’m not working, you can find me hanging out around Rockford with my husband and our two young boys, volunteering in my community, doing yoga (I’m training to be a certified yoga instructor!), writing, playing sand volleyball, or reading.
