About Your Instructor
I fell in love with yoga in 2010 after workplace stress left me burnt out, frustrated, and anxious. Typical “workouts” weren’t helping me manage my mindset and emotions, and I often carried tension from work home with me. I was overworked, irritable, and unproductive all at the same time.
I’d heard great things about yoga, but it looked intimidating. I didn’t have a yoga mat, couldn’t understand a word of Sanskrit, and besides—I wasn’t sure I believed in all that woo-woo stuff. And did I mention I’m not flexible??
But I went for it anyway. And I was hooked from the very first session. Lucky for me, I had a teacher who was down to earth, easy to understand, and understood the importance of a yoga practice that—above all else—made me feel good.
Yoga is the perfect antidote to work-related stress, repetitive movement, sitting or standing for long periods of time, and even employee culture and morale. You really can’t go wrong.
